Episode 63: Survivor Stories: Tim

On the latest Survivor Story we meet Tim. Tim went to Woodstock 99 at the ripe age of 17 and spent almost the entire the time alone. He truly was a boy lost in a very grown up world. From witnessing what he believes was a sexual assault, getting bullied in the Limp Bizkit pit, and attending his first AA meeting, this is truly a harrowing survivor story. 

Episode 57: Survivor Stories: Charlie Meister

Charlie and his brothers went to Woodstock 99 to see their favorite bands. Charlie, the oldest of the crew at the ripe age of 19, led the charge into the most infamous mosh pits of the festival. Fueled by free Raisin Bran and armed with Boy Scout issued canteens they battled their way through the heat and flying bottles and even managed to save a man’s hand.

Episode 56: Return of Andy

This week we welcome back our survivor Andy Theiss. Andy if you remember he kept a concise record of his time at Woodstock 99. Known for not only keeping a diary at Woodstock but also watching a ton of movies and eating a ton of food. We brought him back to talk the HBO documentary, Woodstock 94, and more reflections of 99.

Episode 46: Survivor Stories- Aunt Gina

Gina attended Woodstock 99 with her husband two nephews and had the time of her life. This is a unique survivor story because despite the setting, it is extremely wholesome and positive. Between tripping during Bush, building a poo dam, watching the riots unfold from a hotel room, this story is jam packed with 99 goodies.

Episode 42: Survivor Stories: Brother Wease

Well we did it, we got the boss hog of the East Stage, Brother Wease. Brother Wease was the MC of the East Stage of Woodstock ’99, an MC at Woodstock ’94, and an attendee of Woodstock ’69. This episode gives us a unique look at the backstage workings of Woodstock ’99 as well as what it is like to be with Verne Troyer at a casino in upstate New York.

Episode 40: Rome is Burning: The Riots part 2

In their final report from the grounds of Woodstock 99, Parks and Ryan uncover one of the most horrifying incidents of the entire weekend as well as shed some light on what happened after everyone was booted from the festival grounds. While this episode in many ways could be considered our heaviest, there is also a very pleasant surprise at the end worth sitting through all of the arrest reports and evil-doers you will learn about. Also, it is our 40th episode, certainly a milestone.
